Planet of the Apes HBO In the year 2029, an astronaut whose unauthorized mission to rescue a chimp companion from a mysterious space storm crash-lands on a planet where apes rule and humans are.

The remake's not bad. Not a classic like the original (or the third movie), but decent. I think it helped Mark Wahlberg's career a bit. But the storyline of the original is just phenomenal. Even with the supposed paradoxes, it's a great time travel story. I even like the last of the old series, Battle for the Planet of the Apes.
